Why?
IBAN Validation is a Business Central extension for verifying IBAN bank account numbers in real time — confirming their validity and retrieving bank details through the IBANAPI.com service, directly inside Business Central.
Entering an IBAN manually leaves room for error. With this extension, validity is checked externally the moment an IBAN is entered, and additional bank information is retrieved automatically — making the process safer and simpler.
What does it do?
IBAN Verification
- Validates any IBAN against the IBANAPI.com service.
- Returns instant confirmation of validity.

Additional details are retrieved for valid IBANs:

Fair Use & API Key
The service includes a monthly free allowance:
- 200 full checks per month — validity + full information retrieval
- 800 basic checks per month — validity only
Beyond the free allowance, you can supply your own API key from IBANAPI.com to use your own credits.
