Why?

User Restrictions By Dimensions is a Business Central extension for limiting what users can see based on global dimension 1 and dimension 2.

What does it do?

Similar to filtering what users can view based on responsibility centres, this extension restricts data visibility based on global dimension 1 and global dimension 2.

  • Allow multiple dimension values per user.
  • Allow or restrict the removal of the dimension filter applied.
  • Allow or restrict access to records with a blank dimension value.
  • Apply limitations per scope: sales, purchases.
